Munich: The Morality of Massacre

Stephen Spielberg’s new film Munich explores the aftermath of the massacre of eleven Israeli athletes by Palestinian terrorists at the 1972 Olympic Games. Given the subject matter, this is an inherently political film, but not the morally bankrupt one some have claimed it to be – in fact, it is deeply moral.
